I find that after washing my hair or when I sweat during a workout/hot weather my hair be comes very fluffy/static like. It always stands on end and I find it very difficult to style it the way I want.

My hair is normally kept between 1-2 inches long. What can I do to prevent the fuzziness and make my hair not stand on end so much?

your shampoo is too dry,switch brands or shampoo less often that you do. remember to always use conditioner after shampoo. try to use anti frizz serum on your hair, to prevent it from frizzing out
