Hey all!

Just a quick question!

I have begun the pretipping process, oh boy, lol!  I have pretipped before and I don't really mind it, just plop down in front of the tv while doing it, lol.

Anyhow, this is the first time I am pretipping with Liquid Gold, I really like it!!  I have read on here that people put on a little nail glue later on after the liquid gold has dried.

My question is, do you HAVE to apply nail glue over the liquid gold?  Will anything bad happen if you don't or is it just an extra way to secure the tip from shedding?

Thanks in advance for any answers!!

I think the reason for putting nail glue over the LG is to keep the tip together, prevent shedding, and make it possible to re-use the strand in the future.

Oh, ok!  Thanks for your response!!

I have the nail glue on hand, I was just curious if I didn't put it on what exactly would happen!

Thanks!

Neo, you may want to just PM amm, I think she sometimes has extra stuff she may be willing to sell.

pinkparadise, Thanks, but I have pm Amm a couple times I think she's busy getting her other business together which I totally understand. I have been unsuccessful trying to reach her.

I wasn't able to get the LG into my syringe.  Then I got one of my baby's medicine syringes and tried that.  It still didn't work, so I was trying to brush LG onto each hair section, lay it on wax paper for a few minutes, then roll, lay it on wax paper again till it dried, THEN go over each strand with nail glue.  It was messy for me and time consuming.  I just didn't have the patience, so I ordered pretips from indianhairs.com instead.  $10 for 25 tips.  It was taking me days and days to finish pretipping.  Girl, I don't know how you can knock it out and watch tv too.  I bow to your patience.

If you use the 5cc syringe that will work. You need to draw up some air into the syringe first without any LG glue. Then, push the air into the LG glue bottle (about 3cc of air)  while the bottle is almost upside down. Then, while still holding onto the needle and the bottle, draw the LG glue out of the bottle as the LG sucks up into the syringe slowly.  Continue to draw back from the syringe until it is full with the glue.

I hope you can understand what I mean! It's hard to explain without showing, but I'll see if I can find an illustration tomorrow to post.

I have some syringes if you need one. If you pay for shipping, I'll send you a couple.

Nail glue holds the pretip in place. I wouldn't pretip without it!
