Well unfortunately hair only grows so fast. There is one option which you will probaly find unacceptable. You can buy clip on bangs at places like Sally Beauty and some of the huge beauty supply chains. This style is basically a type of fade (look at the shorter sides and back) with a long Beetles type of bangs and crown.
If you can clip on the longer hair, which may not give you the look you want for a Prom, your best bet is to comb all your hair straight down on your forehead. If you use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner this will make your hair softer and therefore lengthen it a little.
