I really don't know what to say I've been waiting and searching for a
solution to make my hair not so frizzy for a long time. My hair is about 2
inches long and is often really frizzed out. I think the more often I wash
my hair the more frizzy it gets. The strange thing is sometimes and I
don't know why my hair actually looks good and isn't so frizzed out.

So I guess I've got 2 questions.

*What is making my hair so frizzy, and sometimes not so frizzy

*What Can I do to make have less frizz. Do you have a product you would
recommend.

The photo on the right was taken earier this week and my hair isn't
frizzed out at all.

In the photo on the left, which I took last year my hair isn't very frizzy
aswell but the
photo shows just how curly my hair is.

Any help is SO APPRECIATED. This is very important to me. Don't be
fooled I only take photos of myself when my hair looks good. My hair is
normally in like an afro.

Here are the photos of my hair on good hair days

I actually think your hair looks good.

To reduce frizz, I would recommend:

- using a moisturising shampoo and conditioner

- washing in lukewarm/warm water rather than very warm or hot water

- giving your hair a final rinse in cool water after you've washed it

- blotting the excess water from your wet hair very gently with a soft towel (do NOT muss up your hair or dry it roughly with a towel as this will roughen the cuticle and make it impossible for you to achieve any 'sleek' look)

- applying a frizz-reducing serum to your wet hair, such as John Frieda's Frizz-Ease

- waiting until your hair is almost dry before using a comb or brush on it

- being gentle with brushes and combs in your hair (look for a natural bristle brush and wooden comb as these are gentler than plastic ones, which cause static to build up, damage the hair and result in Frizz City)

Good luck - hope this helps.

You can then use heat and / or products to style your hopefully much less frizzy hair however you like.  Lots of guys who are prone to frizz like to apply a little gel to their hair just before it gets dry (as this styles at the same time as eliminating the "poofy" factor).

Thank you very much for the long reply

I'll try everything you've mentioned.

Maybe today the computer will be nice and let me upload a photo of me on
a bad hair day. Then I can show you what I look like most of the time.

Do not brush your hair when it is dry EVER! It will frizz and you will look like shrubbery! Comb when wet, apply product (I like Bumble and Bumble but costs a fortune) and once it is dry (air or dried with a diffuser) for heaven's sake don't brush it. Just leave it alone.  Make sure you are conditioning it, curly hair frizzes when it is dry. If you dry it with a diffuser, scrunch it with your hand as you are drying, it will help define the curls.

Yeah I've found that out first hand. haha. That's how I've been looking for
years. It's all good though, cause I think I may be able to find a way to
deal with it. I don't understand why sometimes my hair looks good and
almost all the time it looks so frizzed out n bushy.

Thanks for the advice, I can't thank you enough
