Hi all! I had planned to test the plastikhaar curly natural edition hair, but for some reason, Sara has been having a hard time getting me the color I requested... so I can't tell anyone about it yet but Im sure some of you have already tried it by now. :) I need to come up with a new game plan regarding my hair now, it needs some serious help. Can anyone tell me what the most undetectable type of hair extensions is? I have thin, fine hair. I have some plastikhaar already and Im thinking of ordering the color I need in straight (though I really wanted curly) can this hair be used with whatever extension method is least detectable and most secure? Lastly does anyone know anyone else in the san francisco bay area who can do the least detectable method or pinch bread method without charging an arm and a leg? It would be great if this person had access to salon quality dye so I could dye my natural hair the same color. If I can't get the plastikhaar I need, does anyone know of a similar hair that holds a curl and can be left loose and flowing that I can get in the U.S.? Thanks for any info anyone can give! :)

There are a few members here that do great work from California. There is Kristen from Yourhairshop, and I think (but I'm not 100% Tangles might be from that area. Her shop is eurolocks (once again I think) but I am sure those in that area will get back to you. Try doing a search for extensionists in CA on top of this page. Are you only looking for Synthetic hair? WaWa is good and comes curly and you can use an iron on it.

Hi Lilu!

Maybe I can help you.  I work in Shingle Springs, which is 30 miles NE of Sacramento.  I  am certified by Prohair (heat seals) and also do  pinch braiding as well.  I have also recently been taking the Plastik Haar and Prohair, making tips with them and installing it with silicone inserted microrings. (my install of choice these days)

Prohair makes a curly synth hair.  Plastik haar is good, but Prohair is just a bit better, in terms of less tangling.

I don't think pinchbraids or even heat seals are the most undectable.  Both of them have very large, bulky attachment sites, therefore harder to conceal.  That's why I've been  doing the microrings for my synth clients.

My prices are very reasonable too.

Click on my website and email me, and maybe we can work something out.  Depending on traffic, it takes about 2-2 1/2 hours to drive from San Francisco to where I am.

Good Luck!
