| My straightener just broke...and I just used my friends (which worked GREAT!)...and she told me that you need to get a straightner with skinny plates that are purple. I had large gold plates. What I need to know is what is the best straightner for about $35 or less? I mean should the plates be gold? pink? purple? I've heard that the plates should never be silver...because it leads to hair damage. So I am just asking what should you look for in the straightener?? Thanks |

I think the plates should be ceramic. The best thing is to not straighten at all, but my straightening friends swear by ceramic irons. Hope this helps ------------- http://anaissatin.livejournal.com">  my LJ , 40 inches long
