Can anyone help me?
I want to grow my super short bangs. I think I want to keep the idea of
bangs but more of a side swept thing

I also want to get rid of some of my layers. I like the idea of face framing
layers and shorter layers on top to give more volume, but I don't have
volume

I also really want to get rid of my red tones. I color my hair brown and it
always turns red. Is there anything I can do to try to get my natural hair
color?

I think I may be going gray. I'd like to play with the gray and mix in some
light brown. I read on here about henna dye (is that right??) I'd like to
learn more about that

Just don't use henna if your hair has been bleached before.  Go to the long hair support forum here at hairboutique and search for henna posts by MissRini.  She is a henna expert.  Henna usually has a reddish cast, so if you don't like red, that may a problem.  There are hennas in all colors, but those are the ones with metals and stuff added to it, even if it says 100% henna on the jar, and these things aren't so good for hair, or predictable when used on dyed hair.  (Henna is a complicated subject!).

To use chemical dye and get rid of reds, you need an ash brown dye.
