Yes, this product is very expensive!  My hairdresser calls it liquid gold becasue of the cost!  She said it is so expensive because it contains ingredients that are the closest thing to real human hair proteins (or something like that)  If you are looking for a deep conditioner that is similar to the Keratese one - try LOREAL Professionel series - Absolut repair.  She recommended this to me and said it was very very close to the keratese, but less expensive and is made by the same company.  It smells like bananas and works great!
