Hi,
This has just come to my attention that any drugs you may be taking may
affect the result of your hair dying. Is it true, and what drugs
specifically is it true for?
I'm on a 2 week course of antibiotics - Penicillin (4th day in) - to
get rid of an abscessed tooth, which make me feel like crap anyway, but
could it affect my colour when I dye it dark red too?
I sincerely hope not...my blonde roots are desperately in need of a touch up!
Any sharing knowledge on this would be appreciated, thanks.

BTW, I have never been on any prescription medicine when dying my hair
before...so is it likely I could have a bad reaction to it?

Aubergine it's highly unlikely that the antibiotics would effect your end color result. I've colored people who've been on long term medication such as anti-depressants, cholesterol medicine, etc. If you are concerned however please contact the manufacturer of the color line you are using as they typically test for those types of interactions between drugs and their color line...they will know for sure.
