Sorry for all the posts & questions...These things are still killing my head in some spots, is this normal, or did I mess something up?

Amanda

I had a full head of micro rings and they really hurt my head but when I did them on the weft they didn't.

hi chick ive fitted micro rings myself and had amanda fit me them and extenshells and both felt fine after a couple of days, did you install them yourself? it may be that your sections are too large or that they are in at the wrong angle as they should not hurt.

they could be installed to tight too, i leave about 1/8 - 1/4 from the root

if they are hurting, take them out and start over or try another method

typicially there should be no discomfort after a few days

I always install the metal methods slightly further away from the head than any other method as when clamped these are metal of course and there is no flexibility in them.  I've never had clients in pain just report that they itch a lot for some x

That was my experience with the little metal buggers...you definitely feel them when you lay down.  They are hard little pieces of metal.  Shrinkies and glue are much softer.

I think the warmth of your head make shrinkies go a little more flexible whilst you sleep xxx

Hi, thanks gals!!  I ended taking them out anyway.  My hair did not cover them well at all.  They really killed too.  I put them at a flat angle against my head & about 1/4 -ish from my scalp.  It was really sensative areas that hurt bad, like behind my ears and just above the nape of my neck.  Too bad too, cause they were really easy to install!

If I had an extentionist around here that did fusion or shrink*** I would have them do it, but we only have one place and they only do bonded wefts.  I'm still waiting for my wawa...

Thanks again!!!

Sometimes also I found if you don't have clean sections, hairs get caught
and pull and hurt like a !!! Also, the first night, but after that I am
fine.

They just take some adjusting, also, there's some areas (like the very
bottom of my head) where I just can't put them, they are painful and I get
some weird little bumps in the area after a few days.

Try the pro-tac? It's amazingly comfortable.
