Hi. Okay, during my 'spring break' or next month I've decided to go back to my old blonde. Anyway, I was wondering about colorfixing/color removing. I've removed hair color before, but when I did I was re-dying it a darker color and I had very little, if any roots showing ..so I wasn't worried about how colorfix (or any other product would remove the color since all my hair was the same dyed color.) What I'm wondering now, ..I haven't dyed my hair in about 3 weeks. My roots are showing pretty badly, so when I apply the colorfix, do I apply it to the rest of my hair and not my roots? Or do I just apply it to everything and then when I apply the new haircolor (blonde) do I leave it on my roots a little longer? I just don't want my roots being 50% lighter than the rest of my hair since my roots are so grown out. Thanks. |

Hi, I have this problem every sngle time I dye my roots. I have naturally light blonde hair and have to leave the dye on my roots longer than on the rest of my hair. If it's just a root touch-up I don't even touch the lengths of my hair because they go too dark (damage = porous  ).Colorfix won't affect your virgin roots because it only removes permanent dyes, so don't worry about getting it on your roots.
