Ok gals....I just got mostly done with my first micro ring(silicone lined) install.  I haven't gotten it razored yet, have an appt on Thursday evening.  However, I am taking these things out unless anyone has a suggestion.  First, I have fine silky straight hair, maybe these rings just aren't right for my hair type.  They show up all over the sides, and my hair looks bumpy.  I have it up in a ponytail right now, and I swear it looks like I have a tick infestation all over my head.  Besides that, the ones on the sides and just behind my ears are still painful unless up in this ponytail fashion.

I'm thinking I may take them out tonight and hope my protac comes in soon.  Hopefully it'll be easrier on my scalp & not show up....It certainly can't look like I have ticks all over my head....

Am I giving up too soon on these ringies??

Give them a few days before you give up...Sometimes, if you had the hair pulled at a slight angle when clamping the rings it will cause them to stick up a little. They will probably lay flatter after a few days and a washing. I would try to give them a few days, unless they are truely painful, then it would be best to take them out. Your pro-tac is on the way dear...hang in there!

awwww, thats too bad that the method didnt work for you. The pro-tac will defintely feel much better on your head! You will be amazed at how easy and QUICK they are to install. Did you order some weft hair or do you have wefts to use with pro-tac? Or are you going to try the strands on the tape?

I thought I would try to use the strands, I don't want to waste my Lush.  I do have Wawa on the weft coming also, just incase.  I should have tried the easiest first!!   Thanks again!!
