So in my (constant) hunt for hair, I ran across this site.. (they were an advertiser on Hair Forum -- and yes I clicked the ad..LOL)

I did a quick search here and see that quite a few of you have bought and used this hair.. I was wondering is there an update on this hair?? I especially would like to hear from those who have used/worn this hair for a little while to give their thoughts on how the hair is holding up.. (matting, shedding, etc..)

I have been wearing the body wave as it is quite soft and a good match for my fine hair.  I have worn the wefts for 2 separate installs so far (3 weeks each) and the hair is still perfect, I experience NO tangling with the body wave texture! It has been washed and will be ready for another wear when I go back to that color hair again (I am in the process of trying to color my hair lighter for summer).  I ordered some of the natural wave and wore it between the body wave installs.  I did not like it as much.  Although the hair looks and feels great still, it did tangle very slightly after 3 weeks.  I removed it, washed and conditioned and will use it for a future install.  Jet Set Extensions hair has been by far the best hair I have used...but I am pretty much a newbie when it comes to extensions...

Hugs,

Sandy

I like Jet Set extensions alot except for one thing:  their blonds are way too  yellow.  It's not like the Bohyme #22 or #613 that I am used to.  It's a ugly yellow that doesn't look natural.  I've had to tone with Shades Platinum Ice to cut the yellow.

Their darker colors are good  though, and the textures are nice too.

Metal,

How would you compare Jet Set's hair to EP's hair.. (Aside from the ugly Jessica Rabbit yellow blonde)

I think that EP is a wee bit better.  Jet set is good though.

How is the hair on shedding?? Did you have to reinforce the wefts to prevent shedding???

These were the first wefts (protac) I have ever worn so I can't really tell you how they are compared to others.  All I can say is that the shedding seems more or less equal to the amount my natural hair sheds for both the machine wefts and the hand-tied wefts that I cut and sealed the ends with liquid gold.  Probable less shedding from the hand-tied though.

Yep, so far I have used the body wave 3 times and the natural wave once and will use it again soon...still in excellent shape even after removing the protac tape from the hand tied wefts!  You should definately contact them for a sample of the textured straight hair!  Just go to the site under News & events!

I have had it since the first week in February - I rarely keep any install in for more than 3-4 weeks at a time.

I have taken about 10 days off total from February until now...I just can't seem to leave my hair alone!  I know, it's not much of a test about how the hair will hold up.  I only wore the natural wave for about 2 1/2 weeks, the rest of the time was the body wave, which has had NO problems whatsoever.  I am will save it to re-install sometime next fall.  I am currently in the process of changing my hair color so, I will be ordering more hair from JetSet again next week for express delivery!

I'm very pleased with the hair...I wear #4 & #6 bodywave.  I had it in little over 2 months and used new hair...not because I couldn't have gone longer, but if I'm going to the strand-by-strand trouble...I want fresh hair.  You will not beat their customer service...excellent.  This has a softer feel than Bohyme and anything is better than Lush.
