as u can see my eyebrows are quite dark and keith urbans are very light. I don't know if he dyes his or if its natural, i assume he dyes them as there light here and darker in other pictures,

my eyebrows are dark and was basically wondering

1.) how hard or dangerous it is to color them lighter yourself

2.) how much it would cost to be done proffesionally (UK price)

3.) Could i do anything to them to make them look lighter without dye? because there quite thick:S would trimming them down or something make them lighter

please help! anything would be appreciated!

thanks:)

xx(apologis if its in the wrong place)

No thoughts on the lightening idea since I've never done it, but I know when girls go blonde it's suggested to thin out the eyebrows to make them less noticable...however, I wouldn't want you to appear too feminine.

But why go blonde?  I think your dark hair suits you.  I would just leave it and straighten it a little..

i have blue eyes, and felt like a change the dark clor is slightly depressing and i really don't like it.

I may thin the eye brows out so there not so bushy, but not make them thinner like in width because that would look too feminine.

any other help would be appreciated by anyone!

i'm pretty sure that you can get it done at a salon (i dye my hair black, and the ppl. at the salon suggested i dye my brows too, but i just color them in w / eyeliner)  I'd ask the stylist what he/she suggests when you get your hair done.  BTW, that style is awesome! :)
not sure of the cost...here in the US it seems to range from cheap like $10 to expensive like $40.
i wouldn't try doing it by youreslf, though, cuz i don't think eyebrows grow back very fast if somethingn goes wrong! ;-)

I would say just thin them out with tweezers, doing it bit by bit so you can see if you like the result. Make sure you take random hairs from within the eyebrow that aren't next to each other so you end up with a thinning effect- not a bald spot.
The bonus of doing this is that the plucked hairs will grow back to full length in about a month or so. This does mean there's a bit of upkeep.
Personally I think guys look fine with blonde hair and darker brows. Ask some of your female friends/family their opinion, as they can see how you look in real life and different lights.
If you do go for bleaching get it professionally done- black hair tends to go bright orange when bleached, or you could go too far and end up with eyebrows so pale they're invisible.
