I really like my install, I like the protac and the liqud gold....but this WAWA is a mess.  I even used fabric softener in it today.  I have brushed it out SEVERAL times today & then put it in a ponytail...this is what it looked like after all that....

well, I can't get darn pictures to copy.  Will post when hubby gets home.

Needless to say I'm bummed.  Maybe I don't know some secret about wawa??  Shampoo & condition this am w/ pureology hydrate.  Then used a leave on conditioner...let it dry, then combed it, used more leave in(spray on)...then dunked it in fabric softener, let that dry, combed it out...then just got done adding some of my daughter's detangler and got the snarls out of my ponytail.  What am I missing?

I'm looking for more Lush...Is there a better/different low maintenance hair?  I don;t mind having to brush a few times a day, but having huge snarls and brushing serveral is out of the question....

Any thoughts?

Amanda

Hmmm, how far are the wefts from one another? If they are placed too close together that could be a problem. I haven't heard of it tangling before to that extent so mabey that's all it is, a placement problem. I hope so for your sake. Don't give up yet!

thats exactly what I did at first, and if you ask any of the girls you first experimented with any of the synthetics they will tell you that less is better...they overloaded with products trying to find the key. And just made the hair behave worse.

I found that the fabric softener on wawa made it feel like crap and heavy and sticky. For me, the best thing was straight spring/purified water in a squirt bottle. Razoring out some of the weight on the ends helped a great deal with the tangles.

Personally it was always more tangly or 'bunchylike' than most HH. But razoring out the ends helped a great deal.

so maybe I'll try taking them out tonight.  I do have 2 wefts in, and it is alot of hair....I don;t have any acetone, so hopefully Amm's remover will do the trick.  Then wash and try again.

I email Carol last night about them and she was really surprised.  She offered me a refund, which is really really nice of her.  I took them out last night, Amm's remover worked MAGIC, even on the fresh LG bonds.  When I was taking out the wefts they were knotted so badly I could not pull, brush or seperate them in any fashion.  The protacs were about 1/2 inch away from each other, is that too close?  I also sandwiched most of them.  Maybe I just had too much in there....Maybe it has to do with my dry NH environment??

I also had very little of my own hair pull out, that orange remover it fantastic!!  The protac came right off the wefts too....
