These are the top ten things I've learned since I've started doing my own Natural hair!
1. It's ALL good!
I really do have "good hair" We all do!. I was always afraid to deal with my natural texture that it would be too nappy. But now that i know what it takes to give my tresses some love, I have manageable hair. It's not so bad at all!
2. Differences make it unique
I do have different textures of hair, all over my head. I have really corse thick hair in the center of my head. Straight hair at the neck and fine hair at the front. But this is part that makes me, me!
3. Trial and error is how you learn things.
I'm sure I've lost more hair hair than necessary, but I have learned valuable lessons in my quest for beauty. Beauty is how God made you. And that what works for you, may not work for me. I have to seek what is best for Vanity!
4. Be patient, you are going to get caught in some tangles!
When I'm trying too hard and getting frustrated, I end up losing lots of hair strainds. But when I take it easy, and let the natrual process happen, be patient and work out every problem spot, it is really easy in the end.
5. Read, and seek, don't try to find the answers on your own.
I realized everything I thought I knew about hair, were pretty much all lies. But when I read, asked questions, saught the help of the wise, I was able to find the answer, much faster than if I tried to figure it out on my own.
6. When you are faithful over the little things, you'll receive more.
Since I've been taking very good care of my hair, it has taken care of me. I've nourished it, and been very careful with it. And now it is growing. So I've figured, if I take care of what I have now, it will be better than what I can imagine in the future.
7. Share your testimony.
I could be having a hair problem that someone else is also having. But because I found a solution, I should share it and help others get to their hair goals.
9. Things aren't always what they seem.
I really thought that MTG could not work for me, since it was for horses!! But I stepped out on faith and it was by far the best product I've ever used. So even though it seems like things won't work out, sometimes the tools and solutions to your problems are unexpected.
10. Prayer changes things...
No mystery there!
