Hi Laura,

First I want to point out that fusion can be installed with keratin OR wax glue, but they are separate substances and not one in the same. You may want to find out which they used as each behaves, reacts, and is removed differently.

On to your questions........itching is normal especially if it's your first time and you aren't used to extensions.  You will get used to the way they feel.  Excessive itching is not normal and could signify a problem.

If you are noticing hairs coming out at the root of your bonds, this could be caused by a few different things.  First, fusion is a delicate method and you must treat the hair like spun gold.  That is to say, brushing, washing, drying, styling, even playing with your hair have a high potential to cause damage.  Many times people believe they are being gentle but in actuality their "gentle" is just not gentle enough.   If you don't believe that's the problem, it could also be caused by the bonds being installed too close to the scalp or because the hair was not lying in the right direction when the bonds were installed.  If you can take a picture of the bonds we might be able to better asses the situation.
