One of my aunts, not the one who relaxed my hair, boxed braided her natural hair from barely ear length to past bra strap over a period of years using Nexxus Humectress and a cinnamon and sole Dominican conditioner. I tried it for a year using SLS and waxy John Frieda products, made no progress and therefore couldn't commit. Not to mention it was mistaken for dreds all the time. Obviously, I should have used what she used. I want to try a Silkworm conditioner, has anyone else? -------------  I'm in!

| I have never heard of most of those products but my hairdresser has recently taken to using whale sperm conditioner in my hair which really has locked moisture in my normally dry and brittle hair. |

i have used rivas silicon mix, emergencia, miss keys 10 en 1, cinnamon and sole, silkworm, whale sperm and other- i like them they have done a great job conditioning my hair. ------------- Me and you, your cousin and your momma too rollin on da strip on bow's |

Xreds, please tell me it isn't REALLY whale sperm, but perhaps an herb with a weird name (like False Unicorn and Chaste Tree). ------------- Hair type: who knows? Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06 MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!! Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH! |

LOL! I think it is because it have a picture of a whale on it. But there are additives to make it smell nice!

I tried the Silkworm conditioner and I didn't like it for me. It would be excellent for those with fine hair that breaks easily. My hair craves moisture like crazy. I adore the Canela y Suela conditioner and I am planning to purchase a big tub of this stuff soon. |
