I am desperate here...I am getting all of my hair braided tomorrow and extensions sewn in. My dilemma is this...my natural color is very dark brown and the extensions are a sandy blond highlight mix, drastic, I know, but better than bleaching my own hair an risk ruining it. Anyway, I want to have a part in my hair as not to make it so fake looking. as far as I know there is NO WAY to do this since showing my scalp would mean showing my own hair color. Any suggestions please?! Even if its a not so conventional way of getting around this I am definitely open to suggestions...Is there a such thing as a skin top piece similar to what is placed on wigs to make a natural skin part?where can I get this?

Yes there are what they called 'closure' pieces to make a fake part line in weaves.  I have bought them them http://www.hisandher.com - www.hisandher.com before.

Do a google search on weave closures, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of places that carry them.  If your getting your hair done tomorrow, you'll need to have one overnighted to you.

Show us pictures of the final result!

Here's my prospect list for closures...

http://weavemasters.easystorecreator.com/Browse_Item_Details.asp/Item_Id/48/categ_id/13/parent_ids/1/Name/Lace-Base_Closure - - London - Hair - Company - Lace Base Closure

http://www.luxehair.com/store/WsDefault.asp?Cat=LaceFrontFrontalClosure - Luxe - Hair - Lace Frontal Closure

http://www.hairfanaticonline.com/wst_page9.html - - Hair Fanatic Closure

You don't need a full 8 oz of hair when you use these closures for a full weave.. The Luxury Locs & Hair Fanatic closures can be custom made to order, and since I now have this higlighted EP hair, I might need a closure to match..LOL All of these closure are expected to last 3-5 years with proper care.. And all of these vendor offer repair service for pretty reasonable prices..

I just cut the top out of wigs.  For some reason its cheaper, and you can get it as long/wide as you need.

Edit: thats when I do wear closure peices, which isnt too often.
