I don't know much about hair extensions and I live in a small town in Illinois and there is only one place that does hair extensions, they told me they do strand by strand with bonding.. Could someone tell me what that means? Thanks so much :)

here's the overview: http://www.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=30347& amp;PN=1

but it basically means that they're gluing tiny bundles of the extension hair onto tiny bundles of your hair near the scalp.

Sounds like fusion. Pretty much what misslou said. Its thin strands of extension hair (maybe 200 or so, strands) attached to a fairly equal amount of natural hair near the root of your hair. Attahed with hot glue. The fusion extensions can either be loose hair that they attach with a hot glue gun or by dunking the tips in hotpot of melted glue. Or they can used pre-glued strands of hair that they attach with the use of a heat wand which melts the pre-glued tip.

If you should decide on a DIY install the Pro-tacs are the way to go in my opinion. Very very easy to do!

Peoria! I am going down to visit a friend at Bradly next weekend!!!

I'm up further north, Evanston, a little north of Chicago.

DIY is a great way to go cori that's what I do, and pro-tacs are easy, really
affordable, and very safe (I haven't damaged any hair yet doing them!)
