I have only been using MTG on my temples but as all of you know who use it is so runny. I want to use it now in my whole head. I want to use it every 2 days or so. Can anyone suggest what to mix it with that will give me a thicker consistency so it's not runny and I can massage it into my scalp every 2 days.  I also do not want to use a product that will weigh my hair down. Any suggestions?

I think you should put it in a spray bottle and spray it lightly onto your hair...that way it won't drip.

Mine doesn't run so badly.

I part my hair into WIDE sections, and put it on my scalp (NOT NEAR THE EDGES) and massage it throughout my scalp with my fingers. Also, I don't squeeze the bottle or turn it over for long. I kind of "tip" it onto my scalp for a few seconds, and it's enough for a pretty good size area.

If you use a spray bottle (or anything), don't spray it on your HAIR, just put it on your scalp. It actually makes its ways out to your ends on its own.

What do you think if I add it to something like one of these products that I have: (trying to grow and thicken up my hair)

ORS Jojoba Oil (in the jar)

or ORS Olive Oil (in the jar not the cream)

or DooGro Medicated Hair Vitallizer Mega Thick Anti-Thinning Formula

or Protective Anti-Thinning Circulation Stimulant

on another note do any of you use or like these products?

To Mayfletcher - Have you tried mixing it with those products? That may be a good suggestion but I don't have them I would not want to buy all of those to try maybe just one, but only the best one.

I am older than most of you probably but I notice it seems like MTG is making my hair at my temples grey. Any old school folks out there with the same issue?

The young folks are getting it too. That is a side effect of MTG.

Many ladies have experienced it in many age ranges.

I am 25 myself and I never had grey hair before starting MTG. I have a bunch all over my head now.

I was reading on the internet that emu oil reverses teh grey so I plan to get some & try using it.

Gosh thats abit concerning that  MTG can give grey hairs . Whats in it that does this . I have never heard of MTG until i joined this forum .  I've heard about the smell and something about Horses and that it acelerates growth .

I happened to see on another forum an 'MTG replica mix '. I am not in anway endorsing this as yet as i've not tried it but i am intending to as the list is all good and natural and Sulphur is good for the hair as i research it on the net as well to comfirm. I have no idea about the main ingredients of MTG so wondering if someone could post whether the ingredients are similar to the replica mix below, but i'm sure its not anyway. The lady said she saw the results of someone who was using the replica mix and she had lovely big hair so she was clearly seeing some results. Here it is:

2 tsb Sulphur Powder ( can get from  http://www.baldwins.co.uk - www.baldwins.co.uk )

4oz Olive Oil

2oz Coconut Oil

4oz Jojoba Oil

15 Drops of Lavender Essential oil.

I'm sure some of you may have these already in your cupboard. . I 've personally used everything  above on my hair before apart from the sulphur and coconut oil

Well I not ready for grey hairs yet that is unless they come naturally  of course! I got the ingredients and sulphur powder today for the so called 'replica mix ' and going to try as its all natural .

Natural Beauty- can you post what the ingredients are of MTG as i'm just curious to see if its in anway similar this replica mix. As as i said on my other post i saw the replica mix on another board and the person said they knew someone who was using this with amazing results - no harm in trying i guess .

I have decided not to use it (MTG) anymore because of the grey. I went to the hairdresser yesterday and she said "wow are you stressed or something your hairline has so much grey". We had to style my hair to come forward everwhere. I have been stretching my perm (now 10 weeks) and want to go to 16 weeks so I won't get color until after then. But I bought the emu oil today & I plan to see if it will reverse the grey. I did some reserach on it and that's what is said. I will stick with Surge & my vitimins and oils from now on.

Yes Mayfletcher get rid, if you never had greys before using it then i think you're right not to contune. Does this turn evryones hair grey eventually  i wonder.

I mixed up and used of my hair an hour ago the so called MTG replica mix posted above. Its absolutely brillant. My hair is extra soft and has  added stretched with amazing body . This is bound to keep my hair well moisturized for a fews days.  If anyone tries this mix make sure you keep stiring or shaking before you apply to hair so the mix the sulphur powder tends to separate from the oils. This is no bother at all.

I had planned to order MTG tonight!!! I am very glad I decided to scan through entries on this site first.  I am a lot older than most of you, however my hair is graying slower than some friends my same age. I have no desire to rush into "graydom"!!  NO MTG FOR ME!!  This replica mix sounds like a great idea.

it must be the petroleum distillates. as far as reading on the internet it takes colour out of stuff, so i don't see why it won't deplete the melanin in hair that gives the hair it's colour.
That is too bad. i got me a 32 fl. oz. bottle just waiting to be used. I am not 30 yet but i got some grey at the front all ready. ....not that there is anything wrong with that.......
