I was over at the 360waves.net forum and i was checking out there curlz forum and most of those guys had waves and now have curlz or vice versa. Now to get curlz you have to use some sort of kit. so i got 2 questions:

how come their hair hasn't fried since they have re touch there hair all the time.

we always talk that when you use a kit your hair will straighten up like white ppl and that your waves will be temporary and they wont connect and all this other stuff but they waves are really nice i guess i wanna noe how thats possible

btw im not tryin to try and do the easy way on waves its just cus i was thinkin about having curlz for some time but wanted to go back to waves but when i found out you had texturize your hair i had 2nd thoughts cus i didn't think i would be able to have waves again.

texturizing ur hair isnt a bad thing jus dont alwayz slap it in (obvious) texturizer makes ur waves stand out more than they do if u didnt use it before

Yeah wut he said there is not really anything wrong with kits ,but waves do look better natural and kits are alot more work even though eventually if you use a kit and brush your hair wil be trained and you wont have to kit anymore...nothing will go wrong if you follow the directions.
You dont have to use a kit to get curls either i used to have them and all i used was scurl gel or world of curls gel and world of curls activator and i dont have what they call "good hair" I still wear curls sometimes and then the next day go back to waves.

yea wat they said, you dont need a kit to get you curls. I just comb my hair backwards and wash it then add pink lotion or carrot cream dependin how im feelin and thats it. My hair is supa dupa soft so that might have something to do with it

When I do it I wash my hair then condition it... put the gel in and rub it around(basically do everything atg) so it forms the curls. That night or mornin I wash that stuff out and put my wave products in brush and du rag then my waves are back...the biggest key is you have to do every thing while your hair is wet especially to get the waves back.
