Hi girls,

How long does a bonded weft install generally last? I dont mean the install itself i mean how long before they need to be removed? Thanks

I usually get 6/7 weeks wear out of bonded weft installs. If you start to see matting near the roots or around the bonded track, or the bonded area has slipped to more than an inch away from the roots then its time for removal. It varies per wearer.

Excellent thanks Sherrie, i didnt think it would last as long as 6 weeks so thats good news :)

Have never had a weft install before, i really hope its an undetectable as strand by strand! I've seen so many girls with their wefts showing and it looks so bad!

I have better luck with wefts and with the right methods they are very discreet....the methods sometimes need tweaking per individual, there are the little tips and tricks for those problem areas that tend to become visable.

Some people get up to 8/9 weeks, and others are lucky to get 4 weeks. I am right in the middle at 6 or 7. I get about the same wear time out of LG or pro-tac. Pro-tac is simpler by a mile!
