yo i usually have my haircut by this guy who been cuttin my hair for 7 years but he went to jail for a while....so i go to tha local black barbershop and i ask for a Taper and to not take so much off the top...he did it good...heres the pic after the 1st cut
3 weeks later it was time for my next cut so this time i THOUGHT i knew what he used for the top last time so i told the barber to use a 2 to cut the top and tape up the back and sides pretty good....after the cut i looked in the mirror and i saw he cut all my waves off. Im a mixed (black/white) kid who didnt need to brush for more than 10 seconds to get deep waves. Now its been 3 weeks since my haircut and my waves still havent come back. I looked on the site and i basically see the key is to brush ur hair ALOT..so ive done that and i see lil waves comin out now. What should i tell the barber to use next time for the top instead of the 2 so i can keep my waves this time? Thanx |

i guess cut it wavelength or leave more hair on ur head maybe u just need to brush more to really train ur waves. -------------

yea no prob he jus cut below ur wavelength...grow ur hair out longer than u normally do and keep brushin...since ur mixed and hav a nice texture u should hav no problem getting waves. ------------- the wave game is a game of stategies, methods, and experience to become a champion! |

yea grow your hair out a bit, cuz when me a 2 my waves dont show but if
i cut it a 3 wtg which is pretty long, the waves show nice. it depends
at what length your hair starts to curl up, well atleast for me

cuz u do have good texture so let it grow for like 3 weeks and get wavelength cuts and u good. -------------

the good thing for you pretty boy straight hair types is: 1. doesn't take long to get waves 2. waves look really deep the bad thing is, it's easy to loose them because the barber may mess up on straight hair, and it has to be looooong. |

yo i shampoo and doo rag up every other night...and then i wake up and take it off and put moisturizer in my head....should i brush it after that or leave it alone? cause when i brush it i see lil hairs stickin up throughout the day |

You shouldnt do too much brushing after that and if you do brush use a soft brush.

use it wen your hair is short and medium wen high but u can use softy if u want ur waves to connect but it might take awhile ------------- |
