I had a perm done today.  It did not turn out at all.  The only place it curled was my short bangs.  My scalp is still burning a bit, my hair is still straight, but now it's frizzy.  It has also changed colour , brassy- greeny. If I wash my hair tonight will it make it worse or will it help.  I am sooo upset. Help,  I want my old hair back!

HI,

Sorry to hear what happened to your hair , did you have it done in a salon. If so they should have done a curls test first to see how your hair would take to a perm. Did they ask you loads of questions before hand, like have you any colour on your hair, if yes , when, are you on any medication etc, because so many products even conditioners will affect the final results , certain medication can cause the perm not to take. No matter what you have the right to go back to the salon and have it sorted without paying, Its your legal right and don't let them tell you other wise.
