I was wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping my hair healthy during colorguard season. Last year my hair starting breaking off really bad and i ended up cutting around 3 inches by the end of the season.

I know there is only so much I can do to prevent breakage because i have to gel and hairspray my hair so that i doesnt move no matter what i do.  and I'm in the sun for atleast 2 hours a day. i know that I have to continue to papmper it but i don't always have time during the week. Anything quick and easy that doesnt take a lot of energy would be greatly appricated.

I understand this because I myself am also in marching band(i play tuba and im a 107 lbs 4'11).  I advise you keep it covered up to protect from sun damage and consider having it braided for band camp.  However, dont put heat in it if youve been sweating.  Youll surely burn it out and damage it.

Cosigning with Renata.  Also deep conditioning more often may help.
