I used to have ashy blonde hair and decided to die it a dark brunette color.  I have had it that way for about a year now, but I am moving to the beach where the constant sun exposure is going to cause it to fade in 2 weeks. So...I want to go blond now, but my hairstylist told me that I have to let it all grow out or I will lose my hair...Does anyone know how to go about this without looking horrible?  And has anyone else succesfully done the same thing?

You can try color remover than bleach to the blonde you want. How dark is your hair dyed?! If its dark brown and you are wanting a very light shade blonde yup you will experiance breakage.

 

Virgen hair is the best to bleach because it lifts in its stages with no problems. And it can take the damage.Hair can take a lot of damage but only  to a certain point. When it starts getting overprocessed thats when breakage starts. First it will start to look like a dry broom and if its not breaking (yet) some people overprocessed their hair to the point when it starts looking like cotton candy. so be careful.

Once you decide to go blonde stay blonde. Because going brunette than wanting to go blonde again will just serioulsly damage your hair. Not that it can't be done it can just depends how damaged your hair is now and if it can handle the bleach
