Well honestly you'd think Scurl was not around way before i was born (joke) and it was new skool the way i've been raving on about it after my hair wash this weekend . The Scurl No Drip Activator Moisturizer was a recommendation on another thread by Pokohontas and Tffy so i thought i'd try it as i was still on my quest for that ultimate hair experience that can last for a least a couple of days or more.

Well let me tell you this no drip, dont have to worry about your pillow case no pretrelum or mineral oil moisturizer hits the hair spot right where it hurts. If your hair is tight or stagnant especially after a wash and so forth then you have got to join me as a new recruit . My hair is sooooo soft i can even finger comb it even from the roots which i was never able to do before. My hair felt and looked amazingly healthy too from the roots to the ends .

Thanks to Scurl i now can be free with my hair and not hide behind the conrow which was the only way i could retain softness. I can wear a fro or all out without worrying my hair will dry out or painstakinly using heaps of moisturizer  to break through to those roots. My hair is not brittle or hard but sooo tight i admitedly didn't get any joy from washing or combing wet but not now. It works well to seal with your usual hair creame or oil etc. I 'd love to hear from any one else who has used this Scurl activator moisturizer . It contains Vit B5 and its for curlies, wavies, naturals and relaxed. It does not discriminate.

I doubled it up with the new Scurl 360 stylin afro hair softner and wow i just can't explain it . The only thing is that this one has lanolin  unlike the activator moisturizer, which i promised i would not use so i'm going to have to forgive my self on this one. Both products are guaranteed no to leave a greasy feel or build up.

Ok that's enough now before i OD on  this stuff

S-Curl junkie signing in, lol!  Seriously this stuff is the bomb!  I can't stop touching my hair after I use it.  It feels like a whole different head of hair, like fluff or something.  This product will definitely be my staple.  I'm buying the HUGE bottle next.

Okay I know I am going be a minority here lol but I was not that amazed with S-curl. I have relaxed hair so that might be why but it is sooo heavy and greasy on my hair. I even tried to spray a little on my hand and then putting it in my hair but nope still greasy. I am trying to use up the bottle I bought by using a little in my homemade spray mixes

Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I have relaxed hair also,  I like to use it after I have washed my hair and if my newgrowth is being stubborn.  But if I am wearing a straight style I don't use it.  But if I am bunnig until my next wash I use it religiously.

Yep, I'd be lost without it!

It makes my new growth extra soft and manageable, S-Curl will be my staple product for life.

Blackhoney i'm sorry too this is your exprience of Scurl , I guess when  raving about a product we should bear in mind it may not work in the same for some. I would say give it a go but its not really nice having an over greasy feel in your hair either. My hair eats like crazy so its the other extreme.

Hey blackhoney.  Did you try using it on your freshly washed hair while it is still wet?  I use it like that sometimes and my hair comes out soft and feels moisturized but not greasy at all.  Maybe you could try it that way and see what happens.

Chile I have been using it for over 6 months after S-Curl was not doing it for me.  Plus a local Big Lots had it for sale for a $1, it was a wrap .

Okay Okay.  So I bought the stuff this weekend.  I must say I am not impressed as far as using it on dry hair..UGH!  Very sticky!!  I have to go and wash my hair now. I am too skeptical to try it on dry hair.  I may end up taking it back to Walmart

^^---Wow, did you use a lot of it?  Maybe try it on wet hair.  When I use it I usually put it on wet, freshly washed hair.  I don't feel the product at all, just the softness.  Sorry it didn't work for you.

Dis may seem like a dumb question, but i've been thinkin about gettin sum S-Curl because i hear so much that it makes ur hair really soft. I wear my hair straight and flipped in, or sometimes flipped out, and it goes maybe 2 or 3 inches past my shoulders, and relaxed. If i use S-Curl, will it make my hair curly to the point of never getting it straight again?! Or will it not do anything but moisturize amazingly?! ASAP feedback would b nice, cuz im probably goin ta go get a bottle today if replies follow positively, thanx yall~

It just softens your hair, not make it curly. From what I gather, you HAVE TO USE IT ON WET HAIR or it'll be a big old slimey mess!

thank u so much for replyin' back. Only downside iz dat it has ta b wet. I wuz hopin ta use it on a daily basis with my hair bein dry all tha time, unless i put doo gro or african pride on it before i curl it/straighten it. It makes it easier ta straighten, and then oil sheen on the finished result makes it a little shiny. U Think you can add anything to it to not make it smell, or smell betta, and so you can use it while your hair is dry? If so wut?

Hi I use it on my dry natural  hair and its fine .  Its best to spray alittle at a time and work through your hair

Aww...but my hair iz relaxed tho, u think it still wont do anything but moisturize it as long as i use it little by little? Lol thats all im worried about is it messin up my relaxed hair. I jus want it to be soft, cuz its dry, especially now that its summer. O, n does it really make ur hair smell bad if u use it when ur hair is dry? can u add anything to possibly make it smell betta?

Nope. It doesnt have a bad smell to begin with, I guess if you have a really sensitive nose then it probably will bother you. I use S-Curl when my hair is dry and when its wet with no problems.
