Mirrors can sometimes be our best friend and at times our worst enemy, and before I explain what options you have available for your hair, first I want you to read this proverb and then think - Carpe diem!...seize the pleasures of the moment without concern for the future.
* Life is a mirror. The mirror of the past reflects the days past by our childhood and our innocent life. The mirror of the present reflects our joys and sorrows, our miseries and success and our faces (Hmmm, yes, including our hair too). The mirror of the future…No reflection__Blank__and what comes!?
What you're asking is very easy to do. Ask your stylist in Portugal if they are familiar with Japanese Hair Straightening (also known as Thermal Reconditioning/TR, Rebonding).
In Europe it is referred to as ‘Cold’ or ‘Heat’ Lissage/Straightening. The most popular products in Europe are Wellastrate of Wella, Glatt of Schwarzkopf and Cera Thermic of L’Oreal. But first, make sure you find a knowledgeable stylist that specializes in Hair Straightening and not just any stylist or a stylist that does it every now and then. Some people’s hair grows out straight from the root to about 6 to 9 inches from the scalp and then it automatically takes a quick twist and turns curly. So I totally understand what you’re saying.
To get the ends of your hair to look really straight like “I”, you have four options; depending on which products are available in your Country.
The first option is to do the Cold process on the curly sections of your hair. This will just soften the curly ends a bit.
The second option is to do the Cold process on the entire head of hair and then process ONLY the ends by using the Japanese Hair Straightening (Heat) method. This will make the curly ends pin straight.
The third option is to do the Japanese Hair Straightening (Heat process) ONLY on the ends of your hair where you’re complaining about, but I am afraid by doing it this way you’ll most likely end up with two different textures. The first and second option will make your hair look and feel more natural.
The fourth and MY best recommended option, is to do the Japanese Hair Straightening on the entire head of hair. I know for sure you’ll definitely LOVE the results. Your entire hair will feel soft, silky, frizz free and "pin straight, I-like" with little to no work required by you at home.
