Hi. Is it stupid to go into a salon WITH your haircolor and have a stylist mix it and put it on your head?

I wouldn't say it was stupid, but it's uncommon; and you can't blame
the hairdresser if it all goes wrong because it's not their brand of
dye that they're used to working with...

You could do it yourself at that point. Doing all over color couldn't be simpler. Why would you ever pay some one if you have the color all picked out?

Ah, it's just that I have thick (but fine textured) hair, and I always seem to miss places. Nobody I know wants to help me with my hair, since I hang out mostly with guys, and I was thinking about getting a haircut anyway. I guess I could do it myself, I just wish I had a girlfriend sometimes!
