Well I currently use wax to push up the front of my hair and i want it too look more like dry spikes than wet spikes. I know that all i have to do is put wax in dry hair but i've also heard that you're not supposed to dry your hair roughly with a towel or else it damages it. I take a shower once in the morning and when i just dab my semi-thick hair it just gets a little less wet and then with wax it look pretty wet. The only way to get it dry is to be a little rough it seems. So i'm just wondering how can you get your hair dry, relatively fast after a shower without damaging it.

Thanks

p.s. my hair is short and gets cut often, so maybe i don't have to worry about damage?

i have the same problem.. my hair is a more medium/thickish and i think its damaged already.. a lot of my hair strands bend and crease at random directions and there is no form of unison at all. some are J, L, or S shaped and have this un-natural texture, that does not obey anymore to gel.

im not saying this will happen to you but i think if u keep it short (like i used to do), it will not matter. The reason my hair is more mediumish is because at the back, i have a displeasing scar that i am trying to cover up around where the back hair line meets the neck.

im try to be gentle when i towel dry my hair, but then my hair just stays wet for awhile. i tried blowdrying sometimes but it just increased the poofyness and outlying hairs.

lol sorry if this was a story, but i think you should be fine towel drying short hair, just dont over-do the roughness

thank you very much! I agree with your logic and understand your situation. Medium-ish hair is in right now anyways =)
