I really need some advice here. Tuesday I went to a different stylist because my aunt wanted us to get our hair done together and this place was closer for her. I told her exactly how I wanted it cut and highlighted. My hair is naturally a very dark brown and I haven't colored it in over a year. I told her I wanted light brown highlights that had a reddish tint in the sun. I even showed her several examples in the books they had and brought in a few pictures of the highlights I got last year.
First she cut it, and she did a great job, so I figured the cut is great, I'm sure the color will be too. The first thing she did though was bleach it, which my previous stylist has never done, and that freaked me out, but she said that's the only way to add color. I knew that wasn't true, but I thought maybe that was the only way they could it there and it was too late to un-bleach it. Then she gave me a sample of colors and asked what I wanted. I pointed to a pretty lbrown copperish color, but said I wanted it lighter than that. She said she'd just mix two colors together to get it lighter.
To get to the point, my hair is HORRIBLE! The front has two big chunks of bright orange, in the back it's orange then fades to pink and blonde. And my friend, who is in school to be a hair stylist, said the color bled everywhere. They're mailing me a refund, but it will take about two weeks. I made an appointment with my normal stylist but she can't me in until next week and said its going to be expensive. Is there any possible way I can fix this? I dont have a lot of money right now because my doggie has to go to the vet today and its going to be really expensive. Any help is really appreciated.
