A little over a week ago I put in a purchase to this website
http://www.tlhw.com/tlhw000/hairsale/HAIRSELL-000.htm - http://www.tlhw.com/tlhw000/hairsale/HAIRSELL-000.htm

For $343.00 (Including shipping) I purchased a full 2 pounds of hair, in lengths that vary from 22" - 30".  The hair arrived smelling very clean, NO nit shells, and I'm hard pressed to find a grey hair.  It feels like it was shampooed and conditioned very well, but I'm not getting a "slick" feeling most silicone-treated hair has.  Its just lovely, natural, well taken care of virgin remy hair.

I zeroed out the bowl weight, and the total weight of the hair measured 2lbs and 3/4 of an ounce.  I also took the photos with no flash.

Wow, that is nice hair! and a very reasonable price. Will be interesting to see how it holds up when you do an install. Gives me an idea of how what 1/2 a pound of hair looks like tied up lol thats alot of hair!

Thanks, it really is lovely.  And as much as I like the indian hair, I dont like how fluffy it gets in humidity at the longer lengths, asian hair is more dense and less likely to puff out like that, its a lot sleeker.

well if I could get it wefted that would be ideal, otherwise I'll just pretip and shrinkie it (extended length of course)

I just hate pretipping Cry

I swear, if we could get some people who are in need of part-time work who would do custom tipping orders, the would get a lot of work from here (hint hint wink wink somebody)

i got a 13 year old thats planning on being a couch potato for the summer, i think something like teaching them to pretip hair would be good to keep preteen's idle hands busy....you should find some lazyWink 'tween and throw em a few dollars.....the hair is beautiful, but  thats exactly what i was thinking when i saw all of it is bulk: oooooooo she's gonna have sore fingers from all that pretippin she's gonna be doin !Tongue

Kalika,

EP will weft this hair for you.. (Just found this out myself..) KoffeeBrown has the 411 on this, but it's like $12 per oz for machine wefting and $8 per oz for cleaning the hair (shampooing hair if needed, evening up the root ends, etc.) Call EP and ask for Cheyne (pronounced Shane) or PM KoffeeBrown for more info..

Kalika, yeah EP does wefting. I see Diva gave u all the info. They weft hand or on the thin machine weft. They don't the the zigzag wefts there tho. Also, plan to lose about 1.5 inches during wefting.. tho that won't be a problem w/ u and those long lengths.

Does anyone know if EP would weft synthetic like Plastikhaar?  Also, do you know how quickly they can custom weft hair for you?

Thanks!

Yeah well turns out I misunderstood the whole custom thing with those folks.. Love their hair, but truly terrible attitide when you talk to that girl who usually mans the counter there..Angry

Anyway.. When I was at Giovanni's for my "Inside Editition Report"LOL, there was a guy there ordering pretips and wefted hair for what I thought at the time was bulk hair he was having sent to them.. (Based on the convo that's what it certainly sounded like) After finding out about EP doing custome wefting, I called Giovanni's on Friday to find out their costs.. Turns out that the guy had some special deal with Giovanni's to have a particular bulk hair custom processed from him because he was in "the industry".. (yeah I know.. like.. whateverSleepy)

As far as I know EP doesn't sell hair on clips.. so I don't think they will install the clips..

You should probably call them and ask for specifics on your own needs.. Ask for Cheyne (pronounced Shane)
