Hey There
I bought clip-ins from His and Her and the hair is terrible!!!! I can't
wear it for more than a half hour before it gets completely knotted up!
I went over there yesterday to show them and they convinced me to buy
some product for it. That did nothing, it's worse than ever.
I just called again and they said they would not refund or store credit.
My question is, seeing this will be a total loss, should I buy their
expensive cuticle hair that costs $229. What do you think? The reason
I'm even considering buying from these creeps is because they have the
best color match for me. Is there another Los Angeles store that you
like? Is EP the best you've seen? Better than The hair shop's 909?

I HATE His & Hers hair.. IMO, it's just high end BSS hair.. For my money if I'm buying hair locally in Los Angeles, and I want quality hair, I'm sticking with EP or (yes I know you hate 'em girl.. ) Giovanni's

How's EP with tangles?
You're so funny! you remember how I feel about Giovanni.
So you think EP hair will be better than His and Her $$$ cuticle hair?

All hair is gonna tangle.. What EP hair is NOT gonna do is mat up into a rats nest seemingly on it's own..
I remember very well what you said about Giovanni's.. I went over to check them out.. Can't beleive I've passed RIGHT by this place for YEARS.. (I thought it was a construction company! ) The owner's kid is a surly, rude little , BUT the HAIR is nice..

Is Giovanni's hair nicer than EP? Did you buy Giovanni's hair? Does it tangle less than EP?
Have you tried Wig and Hair Mart in Encino?
Sorry for all the questions...

| Haven't worn the hair PERSONALLY, but my stylist has two clients who ONLY wear Giovanni's hair, and it really is nice hair..
and again, if you are looking for hair that will NEVER tangle.. there's no such thing.. all hair will tangle to some degree.. Your own hair will tangle.. You don't want hair that MATS up.. There's a huge difference between tangling and KNOTTING/MATTING up..
Never went to the Wig & Hair Mart.. Passed by it.. meant to stop.. ultimately I will get around to them.. I can't imagine they have anything I'm really MISSING out on..

Yeh, the dark EP hair is awesome (I haven't had the chance to wear any
blondes from them since I just converted) and I don't think I ever had
any tangling. Seriously, I could not brush that hair forever and
then brush right through it. I still miss that install......

EP used to carry this hair as their Softwear line, but they have discontinued carrying this particular line of hair... I asked about this hair the last time I was there, and apparently they don't even have any left in stock..

You know what Malibu, there is another other place to buy hair in Los Angeles I just found out about.. I've never tried it BUT a stylist who works part-time at my local Sally's swears by them.. I'll see if I can get the name..
There's lots of great places to get hair if you are willing to order online/phone.. Would you consider ordering hair or do you want a local (Los Angeles) spot only???

You guys are great, thanks for all your input because I am really
bummed out about this his and her hair. It becomes a nest while I'm
barely moving!! I'm just sitting here at my desk!!!
Diva, I didn't realize all hair tangles. I thought really good
hair would be more silky and doesn't tangle easily. I understand some
tangles but this his and her hair is a big puff that I can't get a
brush through without a fight. My own hair tangles but not like this!
The people at his and her would not even hear of taking this hair back.
They could care less about loosing a customer.
The only reason I want a local store is because I'm afraid of the color
matching. His and her has the best match. I guess I can send a sample?
If Giovani has such great hair I would be willing to bite my tongue and go back.
Tangles: I'm curious about wagman primas
longhairaddict: You haven't had tangles? Did you get silky straight?

For hair that's misbehaving soak it in Biosilk, or any of the anti frizz serums for a couple of days. It makes a huge difference.

Hey girls I have purchased hair from Giovanni for over seven years as well as all my clients and I have never had a problem with it. I wear micro braids sometime and my clients wear full head weaves with this hair, I have even bought closures from Giovanni and they are great. They have a alot of color hair and they can custom blend for you in a couple of days. My sister is a natural blonde and it hard to match her hair , but P----- over at Giovanni gets it right ever time. I don't know what happen to you over there the owner if you are speaking of Pauline has a dry attitude but she has always been nice to me. Get what you need girl and move on. I have clients that have the same hair for over two years and it still looks awesome. I even had a client to have her make a wig and it turned out great. Good luck to you. And never by any hair fro, his and hers their hair is bull???? and their policy and attitude are worse. I haven't bought from them in years.

I went to check out the 909 hair at wig and hair mart. I didn't buy it
but it did feel nice. Do you know anything about that hair? The lady
said it's remi hair. What do you think of that?
I checked out Aphrodite's website and I spoke to her. She's sending me
a sample of the wagman and the indian hair. She also mentioned the
d-lux hair at yourhairshop. What do you think of these choices?
I was thinking of taking a ride/roadtrip down to Huntington Beach to
see the d-lux hair at yourhairshop but I haven't heard back from them.
Seems like there's no phone number on the website and I haven't heard
back through email.

I've heard good reviews on the 909 hair.. Do a search here, there are some reviews of the hair here..

Thanks Diva, that's so nice of you to offer!
Are you in Van Nuys? I think you said you were. I'd love to meet you!
Out of the Diva, Wagman and JetSet which is the most straight and shiny?
Aphrodite is sending a sample of wagman so I'll see that but I'm curious about JetSet. Diva brand I haven't heard of.
You know what bothers me and the reason I didn't buy the 909 is because
the browns have a red tint and my hair has no red. Have you noticed
that?

| I'm in Reseda... Do you know where the Lohman's Plaza is?? I'm near there..
I think between the three that Wagman or JetSet are the better options for straight hair.. The Diva hair is nice, but it has more of a texture to it whereas the Wagman and JetSet hair has more of a silky feel to it..

I think 909 is their name brand for remi. It feels nice.
Now I'm curious about Jetset. I sent email so I'll let you know!
