Hey Girls, any adivse/ tips on removing silcone lined micro links?

I was thinking about soaking in some thick conditioner/olive oil combo (my whole head - primaryly focusing on scalp/ link area ), before hand-and  then rinsing, drying, and getting to work w/ some fun tools ??? But would like some pointers before I start in on this next week...

Any Feed Back is grealy appriecated - Thanks

i always remove micro rings when my hair is really dirty and greasy as any trapped hair fall comes out a lot easier than if my hair was clean, but ive not had silicone lined ones so i dont know if there is a difference. i always remove them with pliers and have some acetone at hand in case any glue residue from the extension stays in my hair and some serum in case of any knotty bits of hair.

My advice would be to try to find a friend that will help you take them out, at least the ones that you cant see.  It is easy with the ones in the back or far back on the sides to crush them over again (like doubled) instead of opening them.  I didn't have a huge probelm with this, but it did happen more than I liked and it was totally user error.  The ones I could see came out perfect!  It was much easier than the extentube removal, which was super hard even with the ones in the front.

Oh yeh, when you cant see your fingers believe me they get pinched alot! lol

I would use the tools designed for removal, the pliars you use for crushing them are too smooth and it makes it difficult also.

I really, really loved the silicone microrings from start to finish.  When I decide to start using strand by strand again that will be the first thing I use!!
