So today I FINALLY got my Extensions Plus weft sealer.. They bottled it for me so I did not get to see the name/manufacturer of the product they use.. But the manager spoke to me at length, and assured me that the sealer is non toxic, does not contain latex of any kind, and will last the life of the hair.. The sealant can be colored to match the weft thread if you like, but I opted for clear.. I hope they start selling this stuff regularly, and I suggested this to the manager.. They will sell it to local customers who know to ask for it.. They won't ship it out of state.. (I asked..)

I'm not going to do any of my usual  tests with this sealant.. IMO, EP has done that for me by virture of the fact that they sell their hand-tied & zig-zag wefted hair sealed with this sealant.. Extensions Plus has over 30 years of experience in the hair extensions and wig industry. This speaks volumes for me.. I'll keep you all posted on my sealing experience.. I'm going to seal my Luxury Locs hair tomorrow

Diva,
Thanks for the info. What kind of consistency does the sealer have? Is it thick like paint? Slippery like hair shiner? Do you need to add anything to it? Or bake it on? Is the consistency like "Loving Care"? Thanks, you're the best info person!

It's the same consistency as say Elmers Glue. No additives needed.. Spread on, let dry.. I'm not sure what "Loving Care" is.. so I can't really answer that one..

Loving Care is a demi permanent color that uses no additive. It was originally used for gray hair.

Ahhh.. I can't compare this sealer to the Loving Care product.. I don't do my own coloring, and have no experience with the product..
