I am now approx 9 months since my last touch up and my hair has grown soo much and is soo much heathier,, Im just so happy,, I will not be turning back to relaxer anytime soon or hopefully EVER again ,, my Solano and CHI flat iron make my hair just as straight but without the risk of hideous chemical damage and stiffness and dryness and terrible breakage,, Im not knocking perms for those who benefit but I've learned my lesson ,, relaxers are not for my hair,, perhaps these relaxers were too harsh for 3b hair and i shouldve texturized or something,, but i cant ever see myself returning to chemicals at all and I also have not made weekly salon visits since October!!! and thats becuz of this website so I am very grateful to everyone for helping me to get my hair back where it belongs

Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

Thats great, I'm 5 months without a relaxer myself, although I might go back to it at the end of the year, I haven't decided if I'm transitioning yet.

Texturizing is not that good either. Its still chemicals, and chemical are still damanging to your hair. But good luck anyway
