Hey everyone firstly wow @ this forum this is every hair extensions fans dream! I've been lurking around here for a few days & thanks to you guys I've discovered pro-tac which I am soon to buy.

But first my hair story:  at present I am currently installed clip ins which are cool as such but , you have to clip them in and out etc gets very tiring after a while. Aswell they are not looking good because I have that damn mullet thingy going on around my head due to short layers Angry aswell as that my hair is short at the front and long in the back to when I put these extensions in they look stupid.

Here are some pics.... hair without extensions

As you can see a bit of a mess. I'm really looking for some good quality hair and a way of blending or getting rid of this mullet thing i have going on, because I'm forever wearing a hat with the clip in's in.

And I can never seem to find the right colour. My hair is hightlighted at the top and is kinda blonde well you can give you opinions I would love to know!

If you gorgeous girls could help me then I would be most happy becuase I love having long hair and feel so confident with them in.

Any more information would be most welcome!

Thanks for reading Nikki x

Hmmm, I would think that your hair would blend very well w/ extensions due to all of the layering.  Just as long as the extension hair has some layers put in it to blend.  I have breakage in the front of my hair so I make my clip ins extra wide in order to give me length right at my face. Also, I wear them up high b/c I have a top layer (breakage) and it blends better that way.  When I first had ext, I wore them 14 inch and very layered to blend b/c my own hair was a short choppy 'do.

Am I helping al all???????????????????? Big smile

my god yes you are! Do you go to the hair dressers for layering?

Also what colour extensions do you think would go with my hair? Mixed colours?

I have no clue but thanks for replying :)

from what i can see, you've got some #22(light ash blonde), a good bit of #613(bleach blonde) and some #24(golden blonde).....i know because i am a few of those colors, when i started off buying hair i just went off the colors on the websites, but i finally bought a color ring and it really helps with being able to choose colors to mix (which is, for me, pretty fun).....my own hair is only a little longer than yours and is the many layers like yours (me:due to over-bleaching) and its been great for blending in the extension hair......i would suggest reading past posts about wefts/Protac installs, as long as your hair up near the root is good and strong i really think you'd be very very pleased

I agree that your hair would work well with extensions. And as lucky chick said you would need some layering done to the extension hair. Just be sure to find someone that is experienced with cutting extensions.

I think nursie hit your colors right on the money....looks like some 22, 613 and 24 to me too!
