I just got back from Thailand with a stop in Taipei and noticed a few things about the women's hair.   I didn't see any blondes.  Not one.  In fact, most of the women had natural hair, with what looked to be no coloring and no particular cut or style, maybe just a trim every now and then.   However, there was a small crowd who I guess would be considered the urban/hip crowd, who wore American T-shirts and American brands of clothing, and styled their hair like Paris Hilton/Tara Reed with bad extensions, you know the kind where the hair is extremely short on top and in the front, and then long in the back, and stringy from not enough hair being installed.   At first I thought maybe they just got their hair cut to look that way.  But then I saw a strand come out of someone's head.   I also saw some hair being sold at one of their night markets.  It was bulk and looked natural, and was being sold for 895 Baht, which converts to $24.19  dollars (every thing is cheap over there, you can get a full hour of Thai massage for $9, where as here in the states it would be $60).   I would have bought some to try out, but I just bought from Indianhairs.com.  Speaking of which, I have pictures of the bleaching process and I'll post them soon.    Just thought I'd share what I saw on hair in the far East.
