Firstly let me start out by saying that I love this forum!!! You ladies are so informative about everything! I am new to hair extensions and am looking to get them done in the next few weeks...a friend of mine orders them from ebay and gets them done at a very prestigious salon, who said that they were the best quality hair. She is going to be doing individual hair bonding with keratin...I have fine hair and unfortunately not a lot of it. It's curly naturally so I would get the extensions with a wave to it. My ultimate goal is to add length and fullness to my hair...I love the way that Lindsey Lohan's hair looks right now that is my goal as far as cut and texture...the problem is that I do not know how many I would need to get...a hairdresser measured my head and said that I would need 160 bonds! Isn't that too much? I do not want to put so much hair into my hair that it would end up weighing it down and ruining it!
Note to Longhairaddict: I LOVE your hair!!! It looks exactly like what I would want. All of you guys talk about all your experience with do it yourself methods...and longhairaddict yours looks soo great that I would love to try protape...but how does it work? what are "wefts" in comparison to the individual bonds? I would really appreciate any help...thanks
here is what my hair looks like now, this is the best I could find...it's no longer highlighted though...and the cute little baby is my nephew..

I also really like this look...but like I said I am confused about all the different entension types...
