Hi all, I'm new here!  I am 32, have 2 kids, and have skin problems.  I have body acne(back, arms, chest, legs) & on my face, esp hair line & chin area.  I have tried product lines like clinique, lancome, MK, proactiv, body shop....nothing works for long.  It's almost like my facial skin gets used to the products and they no longer work.  Also, I tend to have dry sensative skin, so products that are strong or for acne make my skin dry and flaky and red.

I'm thinking of trying something new, but what line?  Do I need to keep all products from the same line?  Does it have to pricey to work?  With respect to my skin type, what should I try?

Thanks!!

Honey, you should go to a dermatologist. Most over the counter products dont work well on ADULT ACNE. It could hormonal (in which case birth control helps) or it could be an under the skin infection that needs an oral anti-biotic. Or a topical retinoid like Differin or tazorac may be needed.
I'am 29 and also have ADULT ACNE. I had it pretty bad too,and most people dont realize over the counter stuff can really just make it WORSE!
My dermatologist got mine under control and can help you too. And if you go to one who doesnt help you,or isnt sympathetic~FIND A ANOTHER ONE! I went through 3 before I found my savior!

I find that Neutrogena's Body Clear Body Scrub works great on body acne.
