hi i put this in the curly hair section then realised this may be the corect section as techincally speaking i want to grow ma hair long again so here goes: ill put exactly what i wrote there......

hi there i have naturally relaly curly hair which when i was 15/16 used to grow soo fast and big, umm about 7/8 weeks ago (im not sure approx that time maybe a few days short of 8 or over 8 but not much more than that) anyway aproximatly then my hair was soo badly damaged from the chemicaly relaxing chemicals and the constant dying and bleaching that i had subjected it to for over 2 years that it was getin to the stage that it was shredding big time and just simply not growing.

therefore 2 months ago i did what i really didnt want to do, i cut it to about a grade 1 (did it myself and i think the bk i left a wee bit longer than a 1)
anyway as i say almost 2 months on my hair is at that just past spikey stage.. you know how curly hair can only be spiked when its like at a 3 or 4 grade.. because then it just gets to thick and starts to curl..well ma hairs just at the starting to get a bit too thick to spike kind of stage. its still pretty short tho and i have to get it wet for it to look proper spikey. is this normal growth rate in 7/8 weeks from a grade 1?
i have been watching my diet, using natural conditioners... and taking all the right vitamins or helathy hair growth.

so does the rate and the way ive described my hair length sound perfectly normal? i dont want to worry again that i have relaly slow hair growth..
please reply some1 :) thanks

Your post was kind of difficult to read with all the abbreviations, and I don't know what the grades are so I don't really understand how long your hair is now, but anyway, hair normally grows 1/2 inch (or slightly more than a centimeter) a month.  Some people's grow a little more, some a little less.  Just make sure you aren't overdoing the vitamins.  A multivitamin a day is good, but too much of some things can cause hair loss or worse.
