I've been hearing hype about Artec color-boosting products and wondered if they work only on freshly color-treated hair or if they can lighten untreated hair? I have slightly darker natural roots, but the rest of my hair is a pretty medium blonde. I don't want to spend $100 a month just to professionally lighten the roots.
