The first time I used this stuff, it was a bad experience, however I used it on dry hair.  I'm really getting tired of blow dry and straightening my hair twice a week(the first time fails and leaves my curls visible, and the second time around, its PERFECT).  I am considering wearing my hair "natural" for the first time, and would like to know if I was to co wash really well and spray on some S-Curl, would it define and moisturize my curls?  I thought I had 4a hair but as the wash days go by, my curls are loosening, and I have more corkscrews without kinky hair, so now I'm thinking my hair type is 3c.  I want to save myself a day of disaster if something goes wrong.  Any info, ladies?

hi pickledgeuse- i would suggest simply co-washing with a thick creamy conditioner, rinse and then spritz with plain ole glycerin/water mix- 1-2 oz of glycerin to 4 to 6 oz of water. Fingercomb and this should do the trick.

Thanks, Caramel.  One more question, though.  Will this mix leave a greasy residue in my hair until I wash it out, or will it dry softly, leaving the curls in tact?

For me s-curl dosen't define my curls.  It just moisturizes and makes my hair cottony and really soft so I don't use it much when I'm wearing a curly style because it makes it too soft to hold a curl and it ends up being mostly frizz.  If you do use it and want curl definition you will probably have to layer something over it to hold the curls.
