Hey, I'm new to this site and I've been waving for a minute and I was wondering if anyone could offer some help. I'll post up some pics in a second. Also, I have a few questions:
1.) My barber insists on cutting my hair ATG. Will it affect my waves?
2.) Is it necessary to sleep with a durag?
3.) I wash my hair everyday, then brush it semi-dry, then I use Pink moisterizer, and Sportin Waves(Black). Is that a good method? ------------- http://imageshack.us">  http://imageshack.us">

1. no just dont go lower than a #2 or #3 2. no but it helps your hair lay down, you can get waves without wearin a durag 3. yeah just dont wash with shampoo and conditioner everyday, try every other day -------------

No cutting atg wont affect your waves just dont let it get cut too low the same can happen with wtg cuts. As for the du rag its ok to go with out one sometime but i wouldnt reccomend it all the time usin ya durag really helpsl you hair lay down and look nice also makes the wave process easier.and your meth is ok if its workin for you keep at it even though shampooing your hair every day is not good for your hair but you can use conditioner everyday if you want. -------------

washin everyday isnt gon hurt you. ion kno why so many people feel it will. it is better 2 have clean, healthy hair, especially if u are very active -------------

It really depends on your texture like me i cant do that because it makes my hair extra dry and washin my hair everday doesnt give it a chance to absorb the products.Also washin you hair everyday for some will cause more bad than good making the hair unhealthy. Alot of ppl feel this way bcause its one off the main things you see in black hair care books. You just have to know you hair and how things work for you but everyone cant wash their hair daily without it causing problems. -------------
