Date Posted: April 18 2000 at 7:38pm I have been struggling with my hair color for the past three years, and have not been satisfied yet! My hair is naturally medium brown and has a LARGE AMOUNT of red and orange hiding underneath. You can't tell by looking at it, but it is there. I have had my hair dyed professionally FOUR TIMES, and each time I have informed them of the large amounts of natural red that is in my hair. EVERY TIME I come out looking like a fire engine or ronald mcdonald. Even when I ask for a shade close to the one that I have, they make my head orange! What is causing this? Is it just the natural color of my hair? What can I tell the colorist so that she/he will know that my hair does this and they will know to prevent it? I have spent way too much money, and all I want is light golden brown hair. That shouldn't be too hard!!! It's not like I was making a drastic change from a dark brown to a blonde or anything, just from a medium brown to a light brown! I am in the Cleveland area, can anyone reccommend a good colorist in the area? I am desperate here!!!!! Please help me!!!! Replies:
