Malibu, LongHair, & Blondie: Thanks for the compliments ladies.. This install is growing on me now that I have worked out the blending issues.. The RK hair worked like a charm!! Thank GOD my girlfriend thought of it, and came to my rescue Saturday.. I like the natural waves in this hair.. It let's me be a lil' lazy..

any hair that needs to be sealed or fray sprayed is not something i would ever want to deal with, i need top quality hair as i am sure we all do!

Different stokes is all I can say to that... Even though I do not like sealing wefts, I know there is quite a bit of quality hair on wefts that requires sealing for one reason or another.. For example, any hand tied or zig zag weft has to be sealed if the wefts are going to be cut. For the type of extensions I choose to wear, I need to be able to cut the wefts. So if I am using hand tied or zig zag wefts for my install, they will have to be sealed or " fray sprayed" before I can use them..
For the record, this particular hair IS on a zig zag weft, and regardless of the shedding issue, I would STILL have to seal these wefts in order to use them because my stylist would need to be able to cut the wefts.. Apparently Extensions Plus recognized this as well. So they now seal and "fray spray" ALL of their hand tied & zig zag wefts.. This way customers can cut the hair without fear of the wefts shedding or unraveling.. Any sealant or "fray spray" that Extensions Plus uses was, as they say, "good enough for me" given their sterling reputation in the hair industry. Thus it was my choice for sealing this hair as well..
For the record, the staff at Extensions Plus was quite impressed with this hair.. Because I personally loathe zig zag & hand tied wefts, and hate sealing hair. I brought it in to Extensions Plus because I was considering having it re-wefted. As you know, Extensions Plus will not re-weft any hair that does not meet their very exacting standards. In the interest of saving time and money, I opted to seal or "fray spray" the hair instead.. I purchased the sealant direct from EP and used it for this hair.. So IMO having to seal the weft doesn't stop the hair from being beautiful quality hair.
I do not deal with sub par/low quality hair. I pay a pretty penny to have my extensions professionally installed, and I would not have installed this hair if I thought it was sub par/low quality hair. My stylist also would refuse to install hair he deems low quality hair. I trust his 20+ years as a stylist. Based on my three week experience wearing the hair, my ONLY issue has been a texture/blending issue which has absolutely NOTHING to do with quality. I resolved the blending issue by adding in a few additional wefts of my RK hair.. ------------- Check out the 5th So Cal offline luncheon?? For more info: divahairtalk.overthehillweb.com/lunch.html
