Hi all,
I've posted posts here before about my concern over my hair. I beleive I've expressed my worry over me losing my hair.
Well I told my doctor about this back in November and he said he can't just by looking at it tell I'm losing it, noone can but since it's my hair I can tell a diffrence in it. Well anyways he had tests done on my thyroid and everyhting else he thought could be the problem and everything came out normal, so he made me a appointment with a ok I'm not sure how to spell this so I'm going to do the best that I can..he made me a appointment with a endocronologist, this guy is so busy that he made the appointment back in November and the soonest they could get me in was yesterday the 26th. Anyway I went yesterday and when I walked in the doc asked me if I was the one here about the hair loss and I said "yes" and he said "You have more hair then I ever will, what are you bitching about?" So I told him my worry and about the stress i've been under the past few months and he looked at my hair and at the crown of my head like where my part ends he did notice thinning in that area I've expressed my worry over that before but everyone told me it was just the way I part my hair but I could jsut tell it's thinning cuz when i try to comb the hair back over the spot its thin there and doesnt totally cover up the small I guess I'll call it bald spot so he looked at it said it was thin,I have fine, thin hair anyway he said by feeling it so he diagnosed me as having " Mild Idiopathic Hair Loss" I do have some balding in my family and he suggested maybe I start to use Rogaine, but I'm not sure if I want to or not yet.
My question is I'm only 19 I turn 20 next month and I don't wanna like have this condtion or whatever it is to keep getting worse, so does anyone have any suggestions for me ?

Hi Superstar!:)

Have you looked on the net about this diagnosis? If you really think you have thinning, maybe now is the time to think about rogaine. Before you start, though, I would find out all about this product and how it will affect you.
Like I said before, once you start the product, I think you have to be on it for the rest of your life. Write me back an e-mail when you can.
