I would really like to stop using heat on my hair, but I just don't know how.  Whenever I don't use heat, my hair is really a mess.  I couldn't find glycerine to wear it curly(natural) style.  I gave my hair a nice trim, or so I thought, and I'm still seeing extra necessary breakage.  ...It's not long enough to throw in a pony tail or anything.  I'm truely sick of it..HELP.

Have you tried S-Curl no drip Spray?
It's basically water and glycerin, it's a good water based moisturizer.
Maybe you could try braid outs, twist outs, bantu knots, or rod sets as a protective style, so you wont have to use heat so often.

Rollersets can be good, not direct heat, but still heat.  You can even air dry with rollers.

.. Yeah, I hear ya.  The only thing with that is.. it'll probably come out crispy and dry looking.  And I don't own any rollers.. sooo that's money...that I'd have to spend, which I don't have. :(

Huhmmm have you tried a wrapping lotion/spray and wrapping your hair (smoothly) into a wrap/beehive and sit under the drier...That might help..????

I agree with Vanity about rollersetting with no heat.  I've been airdrying in a rollerset for 3 years and it smooths and straightens the hair.  It's a very good and safe method for growing out your hair.

If the rollerset is done right, it will come out shiny, soft and moisturized and full of body.

Investing in magnetic rollers and duckbill clips (to attach the rollers) are not that expensive at a place like Sally's or a discount store and they will last you for years.
