hi,

i currently have entensions, i love them but they shed a lot. so i came of with the idea to order hair from Great Lengths (i get it wholesale because my friend owns a salon) the thing is i live in utah (going to school) and the salon is in miami, otherwise i would get it done there. so i am going to order the hair, and she will send it to me, and my friend here that does my extensions, will put them in for me (she doesnt do great lengths because they are pricey, but knows how to do them)

anyways my problem is she needs to know what color to order (the # on the ring). i have platnium blond hair, with honey blond colors in it as well.

had anyone used great lengths and happens to have a color ring and can help me??

or does anyone know the # off hand??

i went on the great lengths website and i see the ring, and i think #23 is platnium, with maybe a mixture of #22?

if anyone can help me please let me know...

thanks so much!!!

The colours that we used from Great Lengths in my hair were 59, 51 and 23.  I have pale blonde hair (there are photos on here posted last week).

Its weird because I would never have guessed that I would use the colours that we ended up ordering based on how they look on the website colour ring.  It might be an idea to go to a local salon that offers GLs and look at their colour ring in person.

Good luck!

honey...Id be very careful telling people that your friend is ordering the GL and allowing you to go to someone else to install. GL is very STRICT and your friend could lose her GL certification. And if she isnt GL certified I doubt that GL will allow her to purchase the products.

There are other options for hair at less cost than GL....and the 'hair' isnt the cause of the shedding, its poor installation or poorly glued pretips.

thanks for the advice.

my friend does do GL installs, but i wont be back there till december, but she doesnt mind just shipping me the hair. the only people that will know about it will be me, her and the perosn that puts them in, and i trust both of them.. i am not worried about it.

also with the shedding, the person that does my installs, she uses a few different colors, and the only color that sheds is the platnium. the other colors dont really shed. i just think maybe its because the hair has been processed so much, and is a lot finer than the other colors.

but thanks again for the concern
